Simon provided some excellent tutelage to myself as a complete novice at traditional climbing, taking the time to explain how the protective gear works and how best to place them within the rock. He is extremely approachable and will diligently listen to questions and provides responses that clearly show that he possesses a breadth and depth of knowledge.

Simon taught me and some friends to trad lead in the Peak District. He was kind, patient, and encouraging. His knowledge came through naturally, and he had a great way of explaining things in the moment. I left the day feeling confident and far more equipped. Highly recommend.

A friend and I booked Simon for a 2-day rock-taster session in the Peak District. We met him up there and had a great weekend split across multiple venues. His wealth of experience was clear, and his teaching methods were excellent. We learnt a huge amount and will undoubtedly be back once we have the appetite for the bigger stuff.
